Only 6,000 Subaru BRZ's will come to America!!?

If you haven't read our post on the Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 / Scion FR-S, click here to check it out!

Car and Driver reports that they have received word that Subaru will only be releasing 6,000 BRZ's in America for the 2013 model year.  Having a very limited number of these released will make this car an instant collector's car and very hard to find.

If you were planning on purchasing one of these in the near future, I recommend preordering one now to ensure you get your hands on one before they are all sold out!  If you are content on waiting, check out the Scion FR-S.  It is the BRZ's almost identical twin; the only differences is in the front and rear facias, and some interior and exterior features and accessories.  We'll have to wait till Spring of 2012 to see the BRZ on the road; I can't wait!

  1. That sounds like a PR stunt. If the BRZ sells well Subaru will not miss the chance to cash in.
